Of course, you could risk it. That new chasuble and clerical shirt. You could go online, grab your debit card, take a deep, nervous breath and it’s yours. You might be lucky (or providentially elected, depending on your theology). It might fit perfectly. The colours might be exactly as they looked on screen. There again… Every year, thousands of people choose a risk-free visit to CRE instead – browsing before they buy, pondering before they purchase. CRE plugs a vital gap, offering specialist, church-based goods and services not easily found on the high street. Buying online is here to stay. But shopping is personal. And meeting the people behind a product makes all the difference. In our opinion, nothing beats it.
